- Latest news from the Japanese Automotive Giant Honda for the Indian Bikers is the much awaited racing bike Honda CBR250R and CBR150R are coming to India soon.
- The Honda CBR250R was about to get launched in the month of April 2011 in a commercial fashion but Honda has already launched it without much hype, and the reason behind this less intense launch was the tragic incident struck in Japan.
- Bookings are already open for CBR250R and the bike delivery duration is around 6 Weeks which may dis appoint many curious bikers. CBR150R is yet to be launched.
- The price of CBR250R may vary between Rs 1.6 Lakhs to Rs 2.0 Lakhs, and
the price of CBR150R may vary between Rs 1.0 Lakhs to Rs 1.2 Lakhs.
- When Honda CBR150R is launched then it is going to compete head on with Karizma ZMR & R15 both in performance and price.
- Riding at 80-100 kmph CBR250R gives a mileage of around 25 to 30kmpl, and
CBR150R gives a mileage between 30 to 40kmpl.
- The looks of both these bikes are inspired from the Honda's superbike VFR1200F whose cost is around Rs 20 Lakhs.
- Both the bikes have disc brakes at front and rear end alongwith tubeless tyres.
- Both the bikes have the huge windscreen which helps the rider to get rid of the wind while touring.
- Both these bikes are already running on roads in Thailand, and the CBR250R bike owners claim that the top speed goes upto 160kmph.
- Both the bikes features very neat instrument cluster which is dominated by the analogue tachometer in centre and digital speedometer is placed below it. The orange backlight for the screen looks very cool especially at night.
- CBR150R Horse power is 20bhp and CBR250R is 26bhp.
