Yamaha Fazer 153cc Review (referred from the Bike Owner)
Yamaha Fazer is a concept bike. It is meant mainly for Crusing, touring purpose with a very balanced and powerful engine.
1.Stability - * Yamaha Fazer is a very stable bike in both high speeds and low speeds due to its aerodynamic based front headlight fairings. * Great maneuvering can be achived without any hiccups. * Thick rear tyre allows to lean safely during cornering. * No vibration, no extra noise at high speeds(above 80kmph). * The front Headlight Fairing seriously improves the bikes stability, riding quality and comfort.While cruising at high speed it reduces the effect of wind blast. Tested by Yamaha.
2.Engine and performance - * Fazer is loaded with 153cc single cylinder engine with Air-cooled, 4-stroke. * 5 speed transmission with 12 ltrs fuel tank. * Engine type is a square engine with bore and stroke ratio as 58mm and 57.9mm respectively. * Max power is 14 bhp at 7500 rpm and 14 Nm torque at 6000 rpm. * Max speed is 123kmph with a nice engine note. * Bike’s dashboard is impressive, Good visibility of the speed meter. * Rear view mirrors are fitted in a perfect position with great visibility.
3.Cost and Mileage - * Fazer comes in the top end in the 150cc bikes community. * Yamaha Fazer 153cc on road price varies between Rs 75k to Rs 95k based on the city and features. * Colors available are - Electric Blue, Midnight Black, Lava Red and Flaming Orange. * Fazer gives a mileage anywhere between 35 to 50 kmpl.
4.Limitations - * It is a Touring bike with no space for Luggage. * Pillion seat is very narrow with no proper footrests(Indian kind for ladies). * Costilier compared to the other 150cc segment bikes. * Only one headlight glows at a time.
5.Final Comment - Overall Yamaha Fazer is very good standard bike rather than a touring bike. Because it is light weight (but looks heavy), agile, very stable in all types of road. Anybody looking for a bike in 150cc segment then they can go for this!
